The Artistic Journey of João Bruno

Born in Tomar in 1973, João Bruno was immersed in wool from an early age, influenced by his mother’s passion for crafting traditional Arraiolos rugs. Initially pursuing a career in journalism, he transitioned to design in 2006, founding his brand “Água de Prata,” marking the beginning of his exploration into wool’s artistic potential, leading to the creation of distinctive, handcrafted pieces that blend geometry and nature.
