What Is EDIT Cult
EDIT Cult is the spread section of EDIT Napoli, located in various parts of the city. From 10 to 12 October 2025, it will bring design installations to three landmark venues across the city. All three locations— namely, the Certosa di San Martino, Castel Sant’Elmo, and Villa Floridiana aim at blending design seamlessly with Naples’ architecture. As a matter of fact, there will be no booths or shop windows. The focus will be on observing how objects transform when they interact with real spaces.
Certosa di San Martino
Three highlights stand out at the Certosa. Poltronova presents Terrazzo Quarry by Bethan Laura Wood, a project that explores patterns and surfaces inspired by terrazzo, transforming them into an immediate, tactile landscape. Álvaro Catalán de Ocón showcases his PET Lamp – Gurunsi, created in collaboration with Frafra artisans: lamps born from recycling and a shared vision, where design also tells the story of a community. Azucena signs Unseen Visions, an essential selection that puts timeless detail and the enduring “Milanese” approach to design at center stage.
Castel Sant’Elmo
Here, design invites movement and touch. With Animal Factory for Magis, Luca Boscardin begins with simple shapes to create animal toys that resonate with both children and adults — a reminder that many projects start with play. Diego Rivero Borrell / TANAT for Ranieri presents Paisaje de Reflejos: metal sheets and mirrored surfaces that reflect the city like a kaleidoscope. The installation transforms the castle’s vantage point into a fresh perspective on Naples.

Villa Floridiana
At the Floridiana, balance takes the stage. Marta Sala Éditions demonstrates how rhythm, proportion, and detail can unify a collection without overpowering it. For Officine Tamborrino, Elena Salmistraro introduces Nomadaria: metal modules and furnishings that move and reorganize spaces, suggesting different uses depending on their placement. Tomás Alía closes with Finestra Celata, an intervention that plays with seeing and not seeing, inviting visitors to find the right point of view.
