From 2021 the list will consist of three formats: List Art Fair Basel, List Showtime Online and List Expedition Online
List Art Fair Basel, founded in 1996, is the international discovery fair for contemporary art. Every year in Basel, a younger generation of galleries shows artists who are outstanding representatives of the latest developments and tendencies in contemporary art.
For the top-class specialist audience as well as for all those interested in art, it means dealing with international artistic positions that not only deal with the present but also create it – with new aesthetics, media, and values. Many of the world’s most important gallery owners for contemporary art today have laid a central cornerstone of their current success on the list.
